WEDDING TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please read terms & conditions carefully, as they are an important document. It is the responsibility of the client to understand and agree to these terms & conditions.

APPOINTMENTS

  1. Bookings are essential.

  2. Please ensure you have booked the correct date. If you book the wrong date, I may not be able to reschedule your appointment to the correct date, as I could be fully booked.

  3. For bookings starting before 7am, there will be an early morning fee charged to your booking. Please enquire.

  4. Parking will be extra. If parking is required to do the booking. For some hotel based bookings, parking will need to be charged to your hotel room. In some cases the parking can get invoiced after the booking. Please check with Cosmic Beauty if you have a hotel booking.

  5. Travel will be extra. The travel fee is depending on your location from where the artist is travelling from and where you are located on the day of the event. -Anything more than 30 minutes of travel, a fee of $1.oo per 1km will apply.

  6. Cosmic Beauty is happy to travel to any location in the North Island or South Island at an extra fee. Please contact us for a travel quote to your desired location.

TRIAL

  1. A makeup trial for each bride is strongly recommended 4-8 weeks before the client's wedding date. Payment for the trial appointment is to be paid in advance. A trial gives us a chance to discuss the details and timeline of your wedding day as well as trialling different makeup looks before a final look is agreed upon. If further changes are requested after the trial has taken place, this may result in a further trial appointment which will incur an additional charge.

DEPOSITS

  1. There is a 50% non-refundable deposit when booking with Cosmic Beauty. This deposit is non-transferable, e.g. in the event that a member of the group pulls out of having their agreed makeup service their portion of the deposit cannot be transferred to the remainder of the balance owing.

  2. Payments are to be made by bank transfer only. Cash is not accepted.

  3. A booking is only confirmed once the payment has been received.

  4. Cosmic Beauty will not send any artist to you unless your appointment is paid in full prior to your booking date/ time.

CHANGES

  1. You are required to let Cosmic Beauty know a minimum of two months before the wedding about any booking changes eg; bridesmaids makeup, start and finish time, adding or removing any services. For removal of any services a 50% of service total may be incurred, to help cover our loss of income.

CANCELLATIONS

  1. Cancellations must be in writing, via email. The booking fee will not be refunded for any cancellations. Cancellations within 6 months of the wedding date, the client is liable for 50% of total booking, which will be invoiced immediately. Cancellations within 30 days of wedding date, the client is liable for 100% of the total booking, which will be invoiced immediately.

COVID

  1. With regards to the current COVID-19 pandemic, I am vaccinated as of 8th December 2021. ​ ​If someone has COVID-19 in the 7 days prior to their booking, unfortunately they will not be able to have services done on the day, likewise if anyone is sick on the day. This is to ensure the health and safety of myself, my family and other clients.​ If I cannot work due to being COVID-19 positive, or from having to isolate due to being a close contact, your booking fee will be refunded. I will do my utmost best to help find you a replacement artist for your wedding day however I cannot guarantee a replacement.

ALLERGIES

  1. We are not, under any circumstances, responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. The onus is on the client to notify us if you or anyone in your group has particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. ​ We are happy to use your own products that you are familiar with if you or anyone in your group is prone to allergic reactions with makeup and lash products.

  2. All brushes, tools and makeup/hair products are kept sanitary and are sanitised between every persons application. If you have any medical conditions, sensitivities or allergies of any kind, you must advise at the time of booking.  The Cosmic Beauty artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the client’s failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

PHOTOGRAPHY

  1. The client agrees that Cosmic Beauty may use any photography for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to the makeup artist’s website and social media pages.

PRIVACY ACT

  1. Your name, address, phone number, e-mail address and any other personal information that is held is for the sole use of Cosmic Beauty. This information will not be sold or rented to any third party.
